MAXHOSA AFRICA CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Our garments are knitted and hand-finished with premium care to ensure the long lifespan of our sustainable and natural fibres. Because these are intricate MAXHOSA pieces, we encourage that the care used to maintain them aligns with these values. To preserve the quality, lifespan, texture, and colour of your garment for years to come, we recommend the following:

Hand Wash / Dry Clean Only
We strongly recommend handling your garment with gentle care using cold or lukewarm water. Use baby shampoo or a mild detergent formulated for delicate, wool, or natural fibres.

Please Do Not Machine Wash
Machine washing is not recommended, as it can damage or shrink the delicate fibres.

If You Must Use a Machine
Switch your washer to the Delicate or Wool mode and ensure the water is cold. Use baby shampoo or a mild detergent. Do not tumble dry.

Drying & Storage
After washing, gently press out excess water—do not wring or twist. Lay the garment flat on a clean, dry towel and reshape while damp. Allow it to air dry away from direct sunlight or heat sources.

Ironing & Steaming
If needed, use a cool iron or a steamer on low heat.
